Daughter of George Judson and Flora Johnson Holliday, wife of John Jey Deifell.

MULLINS - Mrs. John J. Deifell of Atlanta and Galivants Ferry died Saturday in Atlanta following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from Morningside Presbyterian Church in Atlanta with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gibson officiating. Burial will be Monday at 3 p.m. from Rose Hill Cemetery at Marion.

She was the former Miss Louise Holliday of Galivants Ferry, a daughter of the late George J. and Flora J. Holliday. She attended Marion High School and Converse College.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Lyman (Holly) Ormond of Greenville, NC and Miss Ann Judson Deifell of Mullins; one son, John Jey Deifell Jr. of Atlanta; two brothers, Joseph Holliday and John Monroe Holliday of Galivants Ferry; three sisters, Mrs. Floramay H. McLeod and Mrs. Elizabeth H. Allen, both of Florence, and Mrs. Reubie H. Gaston of Chester.
