Pages 563,564: Deed to Noble Bates signed by Frederick and Rebecca Williams, William W. Williams, Jr. and Nancy, Amos Cahoon and Polly, Elijah Peet and Martha, September 5, 1817.

Know all men by these presence that we Frederick G. Williams and Rebecca his wife, William W. Williams, Jr. and Nancy his wife, Amos Cahoon and Polly his wife of the County of Cuyahoga and Elijah Peet and Martha his wife of the County of Portage all of the State of Ohio, for and in consideration of ten dollars received to our satisfaction of Noble Bates of the County of Cuyahoga and State aforesaid have released, _______ and forever quit claimed unto the said Noble Bates all the right, title and interest that we have or ever had unto eighty square rods of ground being a part of Lot No. 464 in the Township of Newburgh in the County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio bounded as follows beginning on the State Road leading from the mouth of Cuyahoga River to Hubbels Mills in Newburgh two chains75 links south 35 degrees east of the south west corner of a lot owned by Jedidiah Hubbell deeded to him my Erastus Miles, thence on the east side of said road two chains 25 links thence north 55 degrees east two chains, thence north 32 degrees west two chains and 25 links south 55 degrees west two chains and 25 links to the State Road aforesaid, the place of beginning being the lot owned by Joseph Williams at the time of his decease, to have and to hold the premises so as aforesaid ___ and released together with all and singular the privileges thereunto belonging to him the said Noble Bates his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seals at Newburgh, Ohio, this 5 day of Sept 1817.

Williams, Jr and Rebecca Williams, Amos Cahoon, and Mary Cahoon, Elijah Peet and Martha Peet, signers of the foregoing instrument and the contents of the within instrument being first fully explained and made known to the said Nancy, Rebecca, Polly, and Martha severally acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and will before me. Theodore Miles JP. Received January 5th and recorded the 6th 1818. Horace Perry Recorder.
