Funeral services for Mrs. John H. Campbell, well known resident of this city, who died early last evening at the Mount Rose Hospital in St. Louis following a lingering illness, will be held Sunday afternoon from the Baptist church here. Burial will be made in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell who was about 45 years old, had been in ill health for several months but her condition did not become alarming until five weeks ago when she was taken to the St. Louis institution.
She was born in Moniteau County and spent the early years of her life in that section. There she was married to John Campbell and the family moved to the Capital City nearly twenty years ago. He was connected with the Missouri Pacific here for years.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by one son, William, who lives in Jefferson City and a sister, Mrs. Charles W. Smith, who resides at Hackensack, N.J.
