Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Bergeron Sr., the former Aleta Brasseaux,92, will be held at 2 p.m. In St Regis Catholic here. The Rev Dan Schexnayder will conduct the services.
Mrs Bergeron, a resident of Opelousas formerly of Port Barre, died at 5:50 p.m.Monday, April 6, 1998, in Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas.
Survivors include a son, Curley Bergeron of Dupont; three daughters, Mrs Amy Stelly and Mrs Murphy Marks both of Port Barre, and Mrs John (Hilda) Marks of Eunice; a brother, Noah Brasseaux of Carencro. Survivors also include; 24 grandchildren;53 great-grandchildren; and 6 gr gr grandchildren.
Mrs Bergeron was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bergeron Sr.; two sons, Louis Bergeron Jr. and Kermick Bergeron; and her parents, Justinian Brasseaux and Alice Cormier Brasseaux.
