Geraldine “Gerry” Bradford was the fourth the seven children of William Alexander Bradford and Birdie Maynor. She was born April 24, 1924 in Jackson County and died September 27, 2006 Loudon Co., TN. She never married.
She left Jackson County for Loudon County, TN to work at Oak Ridge where she was a guardette.
According to her obituary in the September 29, 2006 edition of the Knoxville News Sentinel, Geraldine left Alabama and worked for Dr. Bill Campbell. Later, she worked for 40 years at Viskase Corp. (a meat packaging products manufacturer) before she retired in 1986. At the time of her death, she had a niece and a nephew; one great niece and two great nieces; and 7 great nieces and nephews.
She is buried in the Steekee Cemetery in Loudon County, TN.
