Raquel was born on June 7, 1937 in Molango, Hildalgo, Mexico, the oldest of eleven children born to her parents of modest means, Rosalio Najera and Maria Cano.
She met our father, Casimiro Pedraza, in her hometown and they were married and raised six children; Antonia, Saul, Ruben, Andres, Griselda and Said. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her sisters: Dora, Alicia, Paulina and Teresa; and her brothers: Ciro, Esteban, Fustino, Alejo and Camerino.
Raquel's greatest loss was her husband in 1989. She has missed him terribly ever since and is much happier now as she joins him. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a little brother.
We love and respect our Mother and is very dear to us and is in our hearts forever.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at the St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.
Burial will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
A special thank you goes out to Heart'n Home Hospice Staff; her special social worker, Mary Lou; and Nurses Janet and Valeria Martinez.
