ROTH, Samuel - (November 22, 1925 - June 7, 2008). Samuel Roth passed away suddenly, on Saturday, June 7, 2008. Born November 22, 1925 in Crosshill, Ont., son of the late Christian Roth and the late Veronica Boshart. Sam and his wife Anna Mae moved to Sarasota in 1958 from New York. Predeceased by his wife, Anna Mae Lichti Roth, April 15, 1997. Father of Sherrie and her husband Gary McLaughlin of Victoria, B.C. Survived by his sisters and brothers, Mary Jantzi of Waterloo, Erma Roth of Kitchener, Eileen and her husband David Roth of Wellesley, Viola Wagler of Gadshill, William and his wife Cora Roth of Gadshill and Mahlon Roth of Wellesley. Predeceased by his sisters, Laurene (Ivan) Nafziger of Brunner, Sarah (Ohmer) Gerber of Wellesley, Annie (David) Jantzi of Wellesley, and Ruth (Leon) Shantz of Kitchener and sister-in-law, Mary Roth. Predeceased by brothers-in-law, Simone Jantzi, Ivan Nafziger, David Jantzi, Omar Wagler, and Ohmer Gerber. He will be laid to rest with Anna Mae at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Sarasota. With respect for his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. May you remember him in your hearts and in your own way.
