WAUNAKEE - Susan Maier, age 91, died on Tuesday, September 1, 1992
at the Waunakee Manor Health care Center.
She was born on August 30, 1901, the daughter of Peter and Margaret
(Endres) Maerz in the Township of Berry.
She married to Math Maier on May 2, 1922 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Martinsvllle. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1992.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Waunakee and It's Christian Mother's Society.
She is survived by eight sons; four daughters; two sisters, Katie Kirch and Eleanor
Ganzer; two brothers, Willie and Albert Maerz; 49 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Donald and Joseph and two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. at the WINN FUNERAL HOME and at 11:00 a.m. at ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. Reverend Elmer Dietzel and Reverend Monte Robinson will co-celebrate the mass. Friends may call on Thursday, September 3, 1992 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Winn Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
