Wilma Wallace Bebber, age 89, died on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Pearl Wallace and lived in the Holston Valley area all her life. She was of the Baptist faith and was active in church and volunteer work for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Bebber; a brother, R. J. Wallace and a sister, Ada Reed. Survivors include her son, Gordon Brookshire and wife, Barbara of Bluff City; grandson, Jack Brookshire and wife, Penny of Vancouver, Wash., granddaughter, Sarah Knight and husband, Paul of Bluff City and granddaughter, TaraKane Brookshire of Bristol. Also, surviving are four great- grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m.,Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel with the Rev. James Oxendine officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Holston Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Minister, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday.
