LEVI DREW RITES HELD AT ATWOOD
Atwood, Feb. 11- Levi Drew passed away Wednesday night in the County Home at Tuscola. The body was prepared there for burial and was shipped here Thursday morning to the Hill undertaking parlors where it remained until Friday morning. The funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. with Rev. Mr. Delap and Rev. Mr. Rainey officiating.
Mrs Charles Erhardt and Mr. Fred Gilmore sang two songs.
Interment was in the Mackville cemetery.
Mr. Drew lived his entire life in and near Atwood.
His half brother Albert Drew of Indianapolis was present for the funeral and burial services. he walked from Tuscola because of the bad roads which made it impossible for some one to meet him and because of the inability to make train connections.
Mrs. Roland Salyers of Decatur is the surviving daughter of Levi Drew.
