ABBOTT - Joseph, only son of Joseph and Lizzie B. Abbott, aged 4 months, died yesterday morning, March 9th, 1881. Funeral took place at 2 o'clock today, from the residence of Mr. A. M. Brown, 12th and Chicago.
The Omaha Death Registry states that Joseph died of pneumonia on March 7, 1881 and that he was 6 months old.
A marriage license was issued on May 19, 1880 in Omaha, Nebraska for Joseph Abbot, age 23, born in Michigan, the son of John Abbott and Catherine Donahue to Miss Lizzie B. Brown, age 17, born in Missouri, daughter of H. M. Brown and Molly Ware.
