Maria died in the harsh winter time. She died and was buried in a hand made coffin til the spring thaw when she could be buried properly. There is more to this story but I wont post it here.

Maria married Thomas Franklin Hole in Canada and to this union were born 6 children
Elizabeth Hole (who married a J.W. Bradshaw)
John Mills Hole
Samuel Worthy Hole
Martha Hole (who married a John Wilson Price)
William Hole
James Hole
