Husband of Dorothy Soakell (nee) Chafer,Father of Pauline Ward (nee) Soakell, Grand father of Jayne Ann Farnell (nee) Ward Great Grand Father of Matthew and Liam Farnell Resided at 8 wilton close / rawmarsh / rotherham, south yorkshire.
Nathan Born in Rotherham served as a Flight Sergeant in the R.A.F. He was posted abroad and served in Egypt During the second world war. He Recieved two medals during his service career and Married his Wife Dorothy in 1943.
After service Nathan worked at the Bus Depot at Rotherham then finaly made his Career Stewarding in the brewery Trade at Greasbrough Club,Bestwood pub, greasbrough bottom Club and his final position Steward of the Bendigo Pub in Nottingham. He went on to work at Boothy's scrap yard in Rotherham Where he suffered his first Stoke on the way home. A keen Cricketer and sportsman he won many a trophy during those years before suffering several mini strokes which retired him due to ill health. After his wife Dorothy Died in 1990 Nathan Lived the rest of his life in Monkwood Care Home, where he was looked after and frequantly visited by his family. Sadley in 1997 he suffered a further Stroke which he never recovered from and died in Rotherham District General Hospital. He was Cremated at Rotherham Crematorium and his ashes scattered in the garden of rest, at peace and re united with his beloved wife.
