Barbara was born July 21, 1953 in Columbus, Neb. to Louis and Edna (Bohac) Wurdeman. She lived in Dix as a child and moved into the State Home in Beatrice, where she resided until April of 1976. She then moved to Sidney, where she worked in the workshop at ESU 13. In June of 1989 she moved into Park Terrace in Kimball. She has been residing in the Kimball County Manor for the past four years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Barbara is survived by her brothers Roy and wife Ruth Wurdeman of Dix; Larry and wife Charla Wurdeman of Kingman, Ariz.; sisters Janice and husband Jack Daugherty of Hyannis, Neb.; Nancy and husband Morgan Smith, and Linda and husband Roger Seeman all of Kimball; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Donna Schindler and brother Max Wurdeman.
