Jessie was a strong supporter of her community and loved sharing her singing voice everywhere music was welcome. When dementia destroyed her vice she was heartbroken. Jessie is survived by her husband Eugene, children Pam, Lyn and Gary, grandchildren, Jason and Shannon Finnegan, Alex and Krista Ewert and Ted, Amy Koch, great granddaughters, Lily, Eva Finnegan, her sister Eileen Runyon, many nieces and nephews on both the Martin and Koch sides of the family and by estended family members Steve Sumner, Dan Ewert and Celia Finnegan.
Jessie and Genne moved to Colorado in December 2009 to be near the sumner, Finnegan and Ewert Families all of whom reside in Colorado. Gary lives in Logansport and his children in Pennsylvania. Jessie would have celebrated her 85th birthday December 18, 2011. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed. The Monarch Society of Denver, Colorado handled the final arrangements.
