OBITUARY: Mrs. Melinda Pidcock, wife of the late Ira Pidcock died at her home in Cherryville January 15, 1890 age 90. She was born in Williamson County Tennessee. Her husband died while a member of the 12th Missouri Clavier in 1864,leaving nine children. Mrs. Pidcock leaves two sons and four daughters, John W. and James Samuel Pidcock, Alzada Garrison, Martha A.Woods, Mary E. Dugger and Eliza Edgar. She was laid to rest in the Wilkinson Cemetery near Cherryville.
