Agnes was born September 8, 1921 in Karlsruhe, ND, the daughter of Ferdinand and Agnes (Neiss) Kraft. As a young girl she helped take care of her parents and raise a niece. She was raised in Karlsruhe and graduated from Karlsruhe High School in 1941.
Agnes moved to Minot where she was employed at Minot Steam Laundry, Popps Cleaners and One Hour Martinizing. She retired in 1970 and resided in Minot. Agnes lived several years at ManorCare and the last five years at Edgewood Vista. She enjoyed the people at Edgewood and the activities going on there. She loved to play bingo and when there was entertainment she would occasionally dance. The friends she made at Edgewood were important to her.
While living in Karlsruhe she was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She loved reading westerns, watching game shows, such as, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed crocheting.
Those who shared in her life, Sisters, Mary McCutcheon and Emily Bloms, both in Minot; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Catherine Strong, Anna Black, Barbara Volk; brothers, Fred Kraft and Paul Kraft.
Funeral: Friday, February 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot.
Visitation and vigil prayer service: Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Rosary recitation will begin Friday at 10:15 a.m.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
