William Edward Rogers Sr., of North Charleston SC, entered into eternal rest, December 22, 2011, at a local hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife Reba Jewell Snow Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was a 24 year veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Korea and Vietnam. He served with distinction, receiving numerous commendations and awards.

He was a businessman, entrepreneur, and beloved friend.

Mr. Rogers is survived by Wanda Smith; siblings are Mary Nicol, Florence Scoggins, Billy L. Rogers, and Fred Rogers; his children Jewell Karol Pyle, Joyce Maudlin, William E. Rogers Jr., David Rogers, Rob Rogers, Faith Rogers, and Daniel Vogel-Rogers; 15 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, December 27, 2011 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, North Charleston, Dr. David J. Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
