Caroline was the oldest child of a family of 8. The family moved a lot within the general area (Berks, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties). George and Caroline lived in Reading PA after they were married. Two of their children died young and are buried there. In 1854 they moved to Illinois. She was visiting her sister in Pennsylvania when she died. She was buried at her home in Illinois.
