He was born October 20, 1894 in Payne to Andrew and Ida (Dear wester) Snellenberger, was a retired mechanic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church,. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Strabele and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Lamond, Paulding; Mrs. Myrtle McClintock, Canton, and Mrs. Grace Britt, Washington, Connecticut. Two brothers are deceased. Services be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Holding, Rev. James Peiffer officiating, Interment will be in Live Oak Cemetery. Calling in then Den Herder funeral home will be after 3 p.m. today and a scriptural wake service will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. today. -The Crescent News, March 30, 1970.
