Jack graduated from Au Sable Forks Central Rural School. He later became employed at the National Commercial Bank & Trust Co. from 1936 to 1960; from 1954 to 1960, he held the position of manager for the above named bank in Au Sable Forks, New York.
When he retired, he owned and operated the Sport & Gift Shop in Wilmington. Jack was also employed by the Au Sable Valley School System as a bus driver and a monitor. He was a past member and commissioner of the Jay Fire Department, past member of the Keeseville Elks Club and past member of the Au Sable Forks Rotary Club.
