Anthony "Tony" Linzmeier, 83, Manitowoc, died on Dec. 27, 2011, the 26th anniversary of his fathers death, surrounded by family at Northridge Medical Care Center in Manitowoc. He was born on Nov. 20, 1928, in Kewaunee County, son of the late Charles and Margaret (Simonar) Linzmeier. Tony worked on various farms during his early life, and then worked at Holiday House in Manitowoc until his retirement in 2009. He loved music and dancing, the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Tony was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion.

Survivors include five brothers, George (Rita), Cato; Michael (Betty), Darboy; James (Judy), Dykesville; Richard (Virginia), Combined Locks; and Charles (Rita), Hortonville; a sister, Frances, Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Betty, De Pere. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Lawrence, Clarence, Albert, Donald and Robert; two sisters, Dorothy and Laura.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville.
