Delpha Bray was born June 6, 1924 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Fred C. Roll and Gwendola Cadwalader Roll and passed from this life December 29, 2011 at her home in Wetumka. Ms. Bray lived with her family in several locations as a child, including the Wetumka and Weleetka areas. She attended Weleetka school. In November 1941 she was married to Robert C. Bray, Jr. They spent a short time in California before coming back to Wetumka to Wetumka in 1947. They made Wetumka their lifelong home. She is remembered as a loving home maker and a hard working ranchers wife. She enjoyed sewing and reading, often reading a book a day. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2003, and her oldest son Robert C. Bray III in 2009. Survivors include: 2 sons, Denton Bray and wife Vicky and Randy Bray and wife Glenda, all of Wetumka; a daughter Lana Bray of Holdenville; 2 brothers, B.F. and Billy Jack Roll of California; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Living Water Church in Wetumka with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Bray, Nick Nolan, Lance Winters, Roll Gray, Brandon Bray, Jeff Bray, and DeLee Bray. Honorary bearers will be Bob Fitzgerald, E.E. Brown, John Heath, Raymond Curtis, and DeWayne Butler. Interment will be in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.
