Lana Jo Bray was born December 30, 1950 in the Greasy Creek area near Wetumka to Robert C. Bray, Jr. and Delpha Roll Bray and passed from this life September 13, 1012 in Holdenville at the age of 61. Lana was raised in the Wetumka area and attended the Wetumka School. She later attended Seminole State College where she received training as a medical laboratory technician. As a young lady she was married to Terry Fisk. They had one child who preceded them in death as an infant. Terry later lost his life in a tragic auto accident. She was then married to Ronnie Winters and they had one son, Lance. Another son, Nick Nolen, was born while married to Don Nolen. Lana had worked as a lab technician some twenty-five years, spending the last ten years working at the Carl Albert Hospital in Ada. She had made Holdenville her home the past twelve years. She enjoyed going to rodeos and loved all typed of animals. She spent hours just sitting and watching them. Lana was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Lance Winters and wife Rayelene of Holdenville, and Nick Nolen of Wetumka; three grandchildren, Brayden Philip Winters of Holdenville, Ryan Austin Winters of Wetumka, and Jaycie Lane Nolen of Seminole; two brothers Randy Bray and wife Glenda, and Denton Bray and wife Vicky, all of Wetumka; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services were Monday, September 17th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Living Water Church in Wetumka with Mike Winters officiating. Pallbearers were Randy Bray, Nick Nolen, Bobby Bray, Roll Bray, DeLee Bray, Bobby Freeman and Bo Woodruff. Honorary bearers were Ronnie Winters, Harold Wayne Fisk, Denton Bray, Jeremy Shed, and Dewain Butler. Interment was in the Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
