Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock for Mrs. Jennie King Sanders, 83, who died Wednesday evening at her home in Millfield. The services were held from her home where she had lived for more than 50 years. Interment was in the Nye Cemetery in Chauncey. "Aunt Jennie" as she was familiarly known, was the widow of Lewis. W. Sanders, who died five years ago. Since his death, a niece, Mrs. Clarence Sanders, whom she had reared from girlhood, had cared for her. Mrs. Sanders was one of a family of 17 children and the only surviving member of the family is a brother, Brack W. King of Kirksville, Ohio. -Athens Sunday Messenger, March 15, 1931.

Cause of Death: cerebral hemorrhage and lobar pneumonia
