DIED, in this county, on April the 4th, Mrs. Adeline P. Brooks, wife of R.S. Brooks, in the 56th year of her age.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Franklin county, North Carolina, in the year 1817, moved to this county with her parents in early life, and was married on the 23d of May, 1850. She leaves a husband and two children; was a consistent member of the Baptist Church, and died in the fullness of Christian hope.
