Mrs. Mabel Perry Parker Booth, age 96, passed away, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Humboldt General Hospital, Humboldt, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Perry and Mattie Sarah Joyner Perry; her first husband: Holace Parker; her second husband: Doris Booth; and three brothers: George, Malcolm and John Turner Perry.

Mrs. Booth was a loyal member of Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a faithful prayer warrior all her life; spending hours each day on her knees with her Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 21, 2009 in the Brownsville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by two daughters: Hilda Stanley, Humboldt, TN and Ruth Benton, Claxton, GA; two stepdaughters: Jean Climer, Bells, TN and Carolyn Covington (James), Kenton, TN; one brother: Carroll Perry, Goodlettsville, TN; two sisters: Olive White, Bells, TN and Mildred Greene, Humboldt, TN. three grandchildren: Joe Benton, Huntington Beach, CA, Parker Benton, Murrieta, CA, and Mark Stanley, Humboldt, TN; and four great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Holly Grove Baptist Church, 8488 Poplar Corner Rd. Bells, TN, 38006.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 5-9 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home.
