Preceded in death by his brother, Richard Baralla; cousins, Lawrence and Barbara Villanueva, Christine and Leonard Sanchez. Survived by his wife, Shirlee L. Montez; father, Richard Baralla; stepfather, Francisco Ortega; mother, Frances Villanueva; brother, Frank (Soleda) Ortega; sister, Carla (George) Garcia; also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, and vigil service, 4 p.m. Sunday; both at Romero Chapel. Funeral Mass, 2:30 p.m. Monday, at St. Joseph Church. Relatives and friends will be received at Romero Courtesy Hall after vigil service, and at St. Joseph Hall after interment. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
