Bert Hilton Baird,58,died on Mon.,at 10:30 a.m. at his home two miles south of Winchester,after a lingering illness. He was a former employee of the old traction company.
Survivors are the wife, Nellie; one daughter, Mrs. Mark Shellhass; two sons, Robert and William Baird;three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Furby, Mrs. Myrtle Pratt and Mrs. Inez Rickert;two brothers, Clarence and Lloyd Baird; and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Summers funeral home, where it will remain until time for the last rites which will be conducted at the mortuary Wed. at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Leo McKinley, pastor of the Winchester Congregational Christian church. Burial will be in Fountain Park cemetery.
