MRS. WILLIAM MULLEN

Mrs. William Mullen, 84, a resident of Glenbeulah, died Sunday noon at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Feb. 8, 1887, in the Town of Osceola, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Scannell. Mrs. Mullen, the former Agnes Scannell, was married to William Mullen at Armstrong on Oct. 25, 1916.

The couple lived and farmed in the Town of Greenbush until 1957 when they moved to Glenbeulah. Mrs. Mullen was a member of St. Fridolin’s Catholic Church, Glenbeulah, the Altar Societies of St. Fridolin’s Catholic Church, Glenbeulah, and Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at Armstrong.

Survivors include her widower; three sons, Lawrence of Cascade, Thomas of Kohler and Robert of Glenbeulah; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Blinigen of St. Cloud and Miss Marjorie Mullen of Glenbeulah; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mullen was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, and 10 a.m. at St. Fidolin’s Catholic Church, Glenbeulah. The Rev. James Thurman will officiate and burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery at Armstrong.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
