Perry County Resident Dies Tuesday Morning
Caldwell, O., Dec. 20 -- The funeral of Alex Singer, 65, who died at the family home, Rado Ridge, at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday of complications, will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at Fulda Catholic church. Rev. Father Mattes will officiate and burial will be made by Brubach.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Minnie Schell Singer, and eight children. Mrs. Ida Brahler and Mrs. Lydia Blake, Canton; Fredrick, Edna, Laura and Carl, Cleveland, and Joseph and Winifred of the home. Two children preceded him in death. Two sisters and one brother also survive, Mrs. Katie Schafer, Zanesville, and Mrs. Matilda Noll, Olovie (?), and Barney Singer.
According to his death certificate 65 year old farmer Alex Singer died on December 18, 1934 in Jefferson Twp., Noble Co., Ohio. He was married to Minnie [Schell] Singer at the time of his death. He was born on August 2, 1869 in Noble Co., Ohio to German born father John Singer and Mary Burkhart. The cause of death is given as "Brochial pneumonia."
