Cassel MASTERSON, 89, 16 Spring street, Logansport, died at 12:42 this morning at the Memorial hospital, Logansport, where he had been a patient for over two months. Mr. Masterson was born on Nov. 14, 1877 at Macy. In 1899 he married Ella FISSEL, who preceded in death in 1949. He had been a resident of the Fulton area before moving to Logansport 45 years ago. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the E.U.B. church in Fulton. He is survived by a son, Roy [MASTERSON], R.R. 6, Rochester; two grandsons, Robert GOTT, Crown Point, and Don MASTERSON, Lafayette; a granddaughter, Mrs. Dean ZIMPLEMAN, Kokomo; a half-brother, Silas PATTON, Fulton; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces. A daughter, Murial GOTT, preceded in death in 1920. Also a brother, a sister, two half-brothers, and a half-sister preceded in death. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home, Fulton. The Rev. Philip ISGRIGG will officiate. Burial will be at Fulton cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
