EDWIN O. PFEFFERKORN

Edwin O. Pfefferkorn, 90, of 1015 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, December 30, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. A. Ron Helgeson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Pfefferkorn was born July 11, 1891, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late August and Kate Specht Pfefferkorn. Mr Pfefferkorn was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Medical Corps in Kentucky. He marred Lucinda Schuette Jan. 18, 1923, at Mishicot and the couple came to Manitowoc to reside. He had been a night engineer at the Cold Storage Plant, retiring in 1956. He was a member of First World War Barracks of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Betty Jane Pfefferkorn of Milwaukee and Orrin and Evelyn Pfefferkorn of McHenry, Ill.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mabel and William Stechmesser of Two Rivers and Pearl and Roger Bruhn of Mishicot; a sister, Miss Thelma Pfefferkorn of Milwaukee, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A grandson, nine brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday until the time of funeral service at 8 p.m.
