Michael loved the Detroit Red Wings all his life. He graduated from Redford High School in 1972 and joined the Detroit Police Department the following year. As a Detroit police officer, he landed what he considered his dream job - patrolling Red Wings games. He was later transferred to the 13th Precinct, and patrolled the Cass Corridor. He retired in 2001. Married to Jacqueline, he was the father of Shannon and Michael. Cause of death: Cancer.
