This was Llewellyn Boardman Culler, he was born October 1841 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, and died August 17, 1918 in the Columbia Confedrate Infirmery, Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina.

Llewllyn Culler, served in the Confederate States of America Army during the Civil War. He enlisted at South Carolina, as a Private, in Company H., South Carolina 2nd Light Artillery Regiment.

He was veteran of the Civil War. Lived in Veteran's Home in Columbia. Called Uncle Board. One of Ned Culler's earliest memories is attending his funeral. (By J. Culler)

In the 1870 census, Llewellyn Culler was living in Rocky Springs and Giddy Swamp and McTier, Lexington County, South Carolina. He was listed as, L. B. Culler, a farmer, age 29, born in South Carolina and his mother was living with him, she was listed as, C. Culler, age 55, a house keeper, born in South Carolina, also his brother-in-law and sister, J. C. Humphries, a farm hand, age 30, born in Alabama, and his wife, Elizabeth (Culler) Humphries, age 25, born in South Carolina.

In the 1880 census, Llewellyn Culler, was living in Rocky Springs Township, Aiken County, South Carolina, with his mother. He was listed as, L. Boardman Culler, a farm laborer, age 38, born in South Carolina.

In the 1900 census, Llewellyn B. Culler, was living in Rocky Springs Township, Aiken, South Carolina. He was listed as, Boardman Culler, a farmer, age 55 (58?), born October 1844, (1841?) in South Carolina. also living with him was a sister, Mattie, single, age 40, born September 1859 in South Carolina, and another sister, Fannie Humphries, a widow, age 53, born October 1846, in South Carolina, and a neice Fannie Humphries age 16, born April 1884, in South Carolina.

In the 1910 census, Llewellyn B. Culler, was living in the Confederate Soldiers Infirmary in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. he was listed as, Llewellyn B. Culler, age 67, single, and born in South Carolina.

(Note--his death certificate stated he was 77 years old at time of death.)
