She was born July 22, 1927, at Bentonville, the daughter of Gilbert Thomas "Gib" and Dorothy Dean (Mayfield) Lawson.
She was a licensed practical nurse and worked as a home health caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Wolford in 1982; brothers, Julian Thomas Lawson and Charles Robert "Bob" Lawson; and sisters, Emma Jane (who died at age 3 years) and Vera Ethel Powell.
She is survived by daughters, Virginia Jean Stephenson and Ellen Kay Buchanan, both of Coos Bay, Oregon; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, her twin, Thelma Irene Smith, Shirley Holliday and Mabel Geraldine Scott; and brothers, Jack E. Lawson, William Henry "Bill" Lawson and James Lawson.
Buried in Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Arkansas.
