He was born March 3, 1925 in Milford, Utah, to Nels and Dora Stoddard Johnson. Married Norine Mortensen in 1945; later divorced. Married Dorris Kajma in 1975. He was a retired welder for the Salt Lake Board of Education.He is survived by three sons and three daughters, Denise (Willy) Sommer, of Denver, Colorado; Marie Connelley, of Salt Lake City; William L. (Nanci) Johnson, of West Jordan; Orleen (Rob) Novasio, of Taylorsville; Russell Orlyn Johnson, of Salt Lake City; and Danny (Ava) Johnson, of West Valley City; four stepgrandchildren, all of Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from Friday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday. Burial: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
