Harry was married to Teresa Louise DeBroeck on June 9, 1931, in Taos, Missouri, and they had six children.
Harry worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers before founding Adrian Materials, Jeff-Cole Quarries, United HRB, and Jeff City Industries in the greater Jefferson City area.

Harry H. Adrian, 93, Jefferson City, died Sept. 9, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born April 17, 1909, in Wardsville, a son of Joseph and Margaret Sommers Adrian. He was married June 9, 1931, in Taos, to Teresa Louise DeBroeck, who died Aug. 23, 1996.
He was a River Rat for the Army Corps of Engineers on the Missouri River in the 1920's and 1930's. He was a construction worker at Fort Leonard Wood and Jefferson Barracks during their construction. He started a gravel plant on the Osage River in 1945. In 1947, he started Adrian Materials. In 1950, he established Jeff-Cole Quarries in Jefferson City. He established United HRB construction company and Jeff City Industries.
He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Lion's Club, Meadow Lake Acres Country Club, the Missouri Limestone Producer's Association, the Thursday Afternoon Card Club and the Guys and Dolls Dance Club.
Survivors include: two sons, Harry Adrian, Ottawa, Ill., and Roger Adrian, Jefferson City; four daughters, Gertrude LePage, Russellville, Theresa Tanner, Sunrise Beach, Loraine Dawdy, Laurie, and Louise Kempker, Jefferson City; two brothers, Adolph Adrian, Jefferson City, and Stanley Adrian, Wardsville; one sister, Marie Parris, Jefferson City; 33 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cathedral. The Rev. Fred Elskamp will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Starkenburg Shrine, Vogelweid Learning Center, or St. Joseph Home for the Aged.
