Actress. Born Janice Miner, she began her career on drama radio programs appearing the series "Dimension X", "Boston Blackie" and "Casey" in the 1940s. She was with the Copley Theatre Company, Boston, 1945 to 1948 and made her debut on Broadway at the Theatre Marquee in 1958. For feature films, she appeared in "Ten Girls Ago" (1962), "The Swimmer" (1968), "Lenny" (1974) and "Willie and Phil" (1980). Her television credits included "The Jackie Gleason Show", "Lux Video Theatre", "The Nurses", "N.Y.P.D." and as Madge the wisecracking manicurist, for the Palmolive commercials.
