Funeral services will be held today at Oaks and Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia for Daisy Simms Roe, who died Monday (May 27, 1991) at Maury Regional Hospital. She was 80. The Rev. Frank Smith officiated. Burial in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Roe was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late G. W. H. and Cathrine McCown Simms. She was the widow of Carl Roe and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are a brother. Lester Simms; and a sister, Kathleen Bates.
