Race Car Driver. Born in Mar del Plata (Argentina), he participated in 17 Formula One Grand Prix Championship races (Gordini and Maserati), scoring a total of 13 points. A close friend of the Argentinian ace drivers Juan Manuel Fangio and José Froilán González, the 1954 campaign was his best, fourth places in Switzerland and Spain helping him to sixth place in the standings. He returned to South America at the end of the '55 season (during which he also featured in Maserati's Le Mans line-up) and raced mostly in sportscars for the rest of his career.
