Mrs. Paul Roberts
Mrs. Paul Roberts a resident of Le Mars for over 40 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Edwards, 2nd Ave. SW, where she had made her home for the past few years. Death was due to heart trouble and old age.
Her maiden name was Sarah Whitney and she was born in Pennsylvania August 23, 1844. Her husband was a well known resident of Le Mars during his lifetime.
She is survived by her four daughters and two sons who are: Mrs. Thomas Golden; Mrs. M. Edwards; Mrs. George Bauerly, of this city; Mrs. Josephine Talbott of Dubuque; George Roberts of Madison, SD and Alex Roberts of this city. There are twenty six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The Funeral Services will be held from the Golden residence, 2nd Ave NE on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Roberts was one of the oldest of Le Mars and was very well known of the older generation.
