Isabel Ybarra Juarez passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012. She was 86-years-old.
Isabel was born July 29, 1925, to parents Cecilio and Amada Ybarra. She grew up in Oxnard where she later on married her husband, Jesus, after he returned from World War II. They were married on Nov. 25, 1945, and the two of them settled in Oxnard where they started their family.
Isabel is survived by her four daughters and two sons, Esther and Fred Lopez, Eva and Don Duncan, Anna and John Leonardo, Jess and Lucky Juarez, and Bill Juarez. She has nine grandchildren: Joann and Mark Rosales, Ted and KaSandra Lopez, Ronnie Lopez, Debbie Freilberg, Larry Wood, John Jr., Jennifer Leonardo, Sonia, Rick Juarez. She had 13 great-grandchildren. Isabel has numerous surviving brother and sisters, and several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by everyone!
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus M. Juarez, who passed away in April 2006. The couple had been married 60 years at the time.
A visitation for Isabel will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, with the vigil beginning at 7 p.m., located at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, located at St. Anthony's Church in Oxnard. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
