Cope - John Henry Boltin, 74, died Thursday. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of the late Johnny B. and Julia Lee Walling Boltin. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Allie Mae Stone Boltin; daughters, Mrs. H. L. (Mary) Hutto of Cameron, Mrs. Rudolph (Irene) Haddock of Jamison, Mrs. Lonnie (Cynthia) Martin of Conway, Mrs. Lynn (Joyce) Furtick and Mrs. Dorothy Floyd of Orangeburg and Mrs. Maurice (Ella Joe) Richards of San Antonio, Texas; a son, Jackie Boltin of Cope; sisters, Mrs. Joe (Minnie) Derrick of Columbia, Mrs. Dantzler (Doris) Edwards of Rowesville and Mrs. Esdorn (Lessie) Nettles and Mrs. Henry (Peggy) Dukes of Orangeburg; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church, with burial in Bamberg County Memory Gardens.
