He was born May 30, 1905, at Fayetteville, the son of William Davis and Charlotte Belle (Spillers) Lemaster.
He suffered a heart attack while on the job at the NCO building being constructed at the Yuma Air Base. He was employed by the Sandt Construction Company and had been on the local job only one day. He was taken to the base hospital but efforts to revive him failed.
He and Sylvia Fields were married May 7, 1941, in Washington County, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife; and two sons, Gerald Lemaster and William Lemaster.
The body will be shipped to Fayetteville for funeral services and burial, at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Yuma arrangements are by the Johnson Mortuary.
