Salt Creek Church Cemetery

Located in Section 36, Township 17, Range 7 in Talladega County, Alabama on Salt Creek Falls Road just outside of Munford, Talladega Co., AL.
This is a beautiful little Church with a well kept cemetery across the road from the Church. There is a large marble monument near the Church building which reads:
THE STATE OF ALABAMA
TALLADEGA COUNTY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT I ELIAS ADAMS, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE LOVE AND AFFECTION I HAVE TOWARDS SALT CREEK CHURCH AND THE BRETHREN OF THE SAME, DO HEREBY GIVE, GRANT AND CONVEY UNTO THE SAID CHURCH AND THE BRETHREN OF THE SAME, ONE AND HALF ACRES OF LAND BEING AND LYING? IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OR NEAR THE CORNER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION THIRTY SIX, TOWNSHIP 17, RANGE 7, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD FOREVER.
WITNESS MY HAND AND SEAL THIS THE 23RD DAY OF JANUARY 1873.
WITNESS: W. D. WRIGHT ELIAS ADAMS (LS)
In my own research of the "Families" of Salt Creek Cemetery I discovered that quite a few members of the community in which the Elias Adams family lived left Alabama for the "west" shortly after Elias Adams gave the Salt Creek Church congregation the land for the Salt Creek Church in 1873. Elias Adams and his wife Elizabeth can be found in Saline County Arkansas in 1880 where they lived the remainder of their lives, however I can find no evidence of a tombstone for Elias and Elizabeth Adams in the cemeteries in which some of their descendant's are buried both in Arkansas and in Texas.
