83, wife of 64 years to John McGuire, Jr., died Mon. Feb. 6, 2012 at Central Baptist Hospital. Born April 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Butts Hall. Mrs. McGuire was a homemaker, a lifetime member of Arlington Christian Church, and a volunteer at Central Baptist Hospital. In addition to her husband, Mrs. McGuire is survived by three children, Johnny (Beverly) McGuire, Cheryl (Steve) Johnson, and Carey McGuire; six grandchildren, Walker, Hunter, Erin, Sarah, Stephenie, and Stephen; five great grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Kristianne, Aiden, and Savanna; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Hall and a sister, Geraldine Asher. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thurs. At Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. By Rev. Kris Bentley. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am Thurs. Until the service time.
