"Clarence William Patrick, aged seventy-seven, whose health had been failing for the past year as a result of hardening of the arteries, succumbed at midnight Saturday at his home, No. 8 Otsego street, Oneonta. The deceased, who was born near Westford June 18, 1861, lived most of his life on the family homestead near Elk Creek. He had spent the past eight winters in Oneonta, and in August, 1937, moved to his home at Oneonta ... Surviving are Mrs. Patrick, formerly Miss Cora Crippen, to whom he was married in 1891 at Elk Creek; two daughters, Mrs. C. M. Morrison of Schenevus and Miss Doris L.
