"Grandma Mallow, known by most every boy and girl in the neighborhood, departed this life last Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Guhr of Whitcomb, at the ripe age of 91 years, 5 months and 19 days. She was born in Pomerania, Germany. Joined in marriage to Mr. Fred Mallow 72 years ago, and 9 children were born unto them. They came to this country 50 years ago, first to Theresa, Dodge County, Wisconsin; then shortly after, made their home in the town of Grant, where they had a fine home. Later they moved to Larrabee, where the late Mr. Fred Mallow died 21 years ago and Mrs. Mallow made her home here in Marion. The Mallow family were well known and respected.

Her husband and four children preceded her into the other better home in Heaven. Five daughters and many relatives into the fifth generation, with many friends mourned the departed.
