FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES
Miss Elva E. Apperson Dies in Portland
Funeral services were held here Monday for Miss Elva E. Apperson, former resident of McMinnville, who died last Saturday in Portland.
She was born at Oregon City and lived in McMinnville from 1884 until 1896 when she moved to Alaska. After four years in Alaska she returned to the states, moving to Portland, where she resided at the time of her death, in 1902.
She is survived by two brothers, E.C. Apperson, McMinnville, and A. Beverly Apperson, Portland, and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Richey, McMinnville, and Mrs. Lasira Harrington, Portland.
Services were held in Macy chapel here and interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
